We help you write the text, arrange the domain name and the hosting, and set up your Google Business Profile.

  • The website is yours

The website, the domain name and the hosting are in your company's name, and once the website is paid for, you receive all the files. Another web developer can always take over.

What a client looks for on a builder’s website

A client looking for a builder usually compares a few. They look for work like theirs, and for reasons to trust you. That is why we build a builder’s website around these points.

  • Projects like theirs: photographs of each project, with the location and the type of work.
  • Which jobs you take on and which you do not, so that you do not get requests for work you would turn down.
  • The area you work in.
  • Why they can trust you: your KVK number, your insurance and your accreditations, such as VCA or BouwGarant.
  • How to ask for a quote in one step, with a form that asks for photographs of the job.
  • A page with vacancies, if you are hiring. Job seekers look at your website first, too.

What does a website for a builder cost?

These are our starting prices, excluding VAT. If you add a project yourself after every handover, the business website you manage yourself is the right choice (from €2,950). If you would rather leave that to us, start with the five-page business website (from €995).

Every website: works on phones and computers, each page with its own title and description for Google, your business on Google Maps, domain name and hosting in your company's name, and all the files.

No subscription. After launch you pay only for your domain name (your web address, about €10 to €25 a year) and the hosting (where your website is online, €0 to €20 a month). Later changes cost €100 an hour.

Our work: a website from start to finish

Not a builder, but it started where many builders start: no website, logo or branding yet.

  • Client project
  • Personal training and martial arts
  • Utrecht region

Eras Sport

From scratch to a website where visitors ask for a free trial lesson in one tap.

The brief
The business had no website, logo or branding yet. The owner wanted a website that shows who he is, what he offers and what he stands for.
What we did
  • Logo and branding
  • Deciding what visitors should do
  • Design
  • Text and images
  • Build
  • Putting it online
  • Search visibility
The result
Visitors see what the training involves and who it is for, and they book a first lesson by WhatsApp, phone or email. The website is designed for phones first.

How it works: from request to launch

  1. You fill in the form

A few lines are enough: what you want built, who will use it and when you need it.

  2. We reply and arrange a call

We suggest a time for a free first conversation by phone, and we go through what you need.

  3. You receive a quote

It sets out the work, the schedule and the price, in writing. You decide what happens next.

  4. You accept and send your text and photographs

You pay half when you accept.

  5. Two weeks later your website is online

You pay the other half on delivery.

Aytebit is a software studio in Nieuwegein, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42105229. We work remotely: the first conversation is by phone, and we deliver online.

Questions builders ask about their website

How much does a website for a builder cost?

A five-page business website starts at €995, a website of up to ten pages that you keep up to date yourself at €2,950, and a website with a custom design at €5,000, all excluding VAT and with no subscription. The quote states the exact price for your website.

How do I keep my projects up to date?

With the website you manage yourself, you put a project online after a handover: a few photographs, the location and a sentence about the work. With the five-page business website, you send us the photographs and the sentence, and we put the project online. The quote states what that costs.

Who writes the text and takes the photographs?

You supply the photographs of your projects and the facts about your business. Photographs from your phone are fine if they are sharp and taken in daylight. We choose the best ones and help you structure and edit the text, so that you do not start from a blank page.

Can the website filter out requests for small jobs?

Mostly, yes. The website states clearly which work you do and which you do not, and the request form asks for the type of work, the location and when it should start. Someone with a job you do not take on sees that before they call you.

Will my business appear on Google Maps?

Yes. With every new website we set up or update your Google Business Profile, so that you appear on Google Maps with your website, your service area and your opening hours. Google gives this kind of profile to businesses that meet their customers in person, and a builder does.

Does my website need to mention the Dutch building quality act?

Since 1 January 2024, the Wet kwaliteitsborging voor het bouwen has applied to new buildings in consequence class 1, such as single-family houses and smaller business premises. For renovations it has been postponed. If you build projects like these, clients will want to know how you work under the act. A short explanation on your website, for example which quality assurer you work with, answers that question before they ask it.

What happens to my current website and email?

Your domain name and your email stay as they are. We put the new website on your existing domain and redirect every old address to the new page, so that you keep your Google ranking. Your email keeps working as it does now.

Who owns the website and the domain name?

You do. The website, the domain name and the hosting account are in the name of your company. When the project is paid for, you receive all its files.

Can you build an online shop?

For an online shop with a large catalogue of products, a ready-made e-commerce platform is usually the better choice, and we can advise you on which one.
