Who is responsible

Aytebit, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK number 42105229, is the controller for any personal data processed through this website. For anything about your personal data, write to privacy@aytebit.com. Other contact details are on the business details page.

What this website collects

This is a static informational website. It has no accounts, no forms, no comment sections and no shopping function. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

One thing is nevertheless processed as a technical consequence of serving the pages:

  • Server access logs. The site is served by Google Firebase Hosting, which records standard request data including your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser’s user-agent string. This is used to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse.

The typefaces, stylesheets and images are served from this website itself. Your browser makes no request to any other party when it loads these pages.

Why, and on what basis

Access logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: making the website available and keeping it secure. No profiles are built and no automated decisions are made about you.

How long it is kept

Access logs are retained by the hosting provider under its own retention schedule. Aytebit does not extract, export or separately store this data.

If you email us

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message to handle your enquiry. The basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps needed before entering into a contract if you ask for a proposal. We keep the correspondence for as long as that takes, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Who else receives it

Google Ireland Limited and its affiliates, as provider of the website hosting and of our email service (Google Workspace). Google may process this data outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards described in its own data processing terms. No data from this website is sold or shared with anyone else.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or object to processing. Send such a request to privacy@aytebit.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
